Heatmaps

This feature is not available in GoPlanogram Lite

Heatmaps visualize numerical values associated with displayed products on a green to yellow to red spectrum. By default, GoPlanogram ships with one heatmap, which visualizes the BestSelling column of product data.

You may define as many custom heatmaps as you like, to visualize any numerical data or calculation on data, such as Profit, WeeklySales, etc...

Note that you may specify whether low numerical values correspond with red or green, or vice versa, by toggling the button in the Order column.

To edit custom heatmaps, click the icon at the bottom of the View Options card in the right panel, or navigate to File -> Customize Site, then click the Heatmaps button.

Below is a sample setup with two custom heatmaps.

The first will appear to users as "Profit", and has been mapped to a calculation subtracting Cost from Price. When a user selects this view option, products will be colored red to yellow to green according to each product's calculated "Profit" value. Note the Order button shows longer bars at the top of its icon and shorter bars at the bottom (); this signifies that for this heatmap, high values are green and low values are red.

The second will appear to users as "Weekly Sales", and has been mapped to a store data property, called !WeeklySales. For this view option to work, the current planogram must have store data associated with it, and one of the uploaded properties must be !WeeklySales. If a user selects this view option, products will be colored red to yellow to green according to each product's uploaded !WeeklySales value. Note the Order button shows shorter bars at the top of its icon and longer bars at the bottom (); this signifies that for this heatmap, low values are green and high values are red.

Profit

The resultant Profit heatmap (the number in the gray box is a custom product label displaying the calculated Profit value). As we specified in the Order column, high values are green and low values are red.

Weekly Sales

The resultant WeeklySales heatmap (the number in the gray box is a custom product label displaying the calculated WeeklySales value). As we specified in the Order column, low values are green and high values are red.
